The Community Program of Weakely County pairs caring adults with youth who can benefit from the influence of a mentor.  This mentoring program helps reduce teen voilence in Weakley County by involving educational agencies, religious institutions and concerned individuals.

The Learning Enrichment Center provides after school programs including tutoring, homework assistance, community education programs, recreation activities and assists with school fees and other supplies.  Summer activities include free lunch program, structured recreation and team sports.

A transient school that provides a structured environment to assist students, ages 10-18, with educational, behavioral, emotional and social adjustment problems in becoming more productive and regaining some measure of control over their behaviors. Referrals come directly from the court system.

The Sharon Senior Citizens Center provides support services for senior adults in Sharon.  Programs include transportation, information and referral, outreach, telephone reassurance, friendly visitation and senior center activities.  The center is a nutrition site and provides meals for people at the Center as well as for those who are homebound.

The CDS works with individuals over 22 years of age with mental retardation and developmental disabilities to promote independence and integration into their communities.  CDS offers day habilitation, supported employment and residential services.

The American Red Cross provides emergency assistance and disaster services, single-family fires, servies to military families, courses in standard first aid/CPR, babysitting, BAT (Basic Aid Training for 4th Graders), swimming and lifeguard courses.
