Christmas Partners

When Christmas comes to mind, so do presents, a big dinner and family and friends gathering. For many that won’t be a possibility because they are struggling to provide the daily basics, which makes Christmas a near impossibility. That’s why organizations from throughout the community are working together to provide that help.

Christmas Partners, a partnership of local nonprofit, faith-based and civic organizations, was begun in Madison County in 2001. The goals of Christmas Partners are to eliminate duplication of service and to make the community’s resources go further. Currently, Christmas Partners is only available in Madison County. This year’s partners include United Way of West Tennessee, Area Relief Ministries, Salvation Army and Knights of Columbus.

Any organization wishing to join the partnership should contact Pat Ross at United Way.
